Notice one small window out (propped against the wall) and the space to the right of the door already bricked in by Ricky – unfortunately the day he was doing it was dreadful and he got rained on all day!

Door out, acrows up, bricks in! The weather was brilliant for the rest of the week fortunately.

Window fitted, walls finished and I was able to move some cabinets back into the kitchen. This work is rather like a Merry go round with things being switched from space to space.

The removal of the door seems to have made the kitchen look bigger. It has certainly allowed us more work surface!

Not only was it challenging doing the brick work (matching the styles and type was tricky) but it was a feat of motoring to park the van in our small road!

Inside the proposed sitting room the window has been bricked up and finished on the outside. We have made substantial progress this week.
