Some help from the littlest grandchild – Daisy liked digging around in the ‘gloop’ and was quite sure about her design features.

Our rubbish heap of unrecyclable plaster debris has grown somewhat and is not exactly a 'thing of beauty' or a 'joy to behold' - all ideas as to how to use this will be gratefully received.

On Louise’s recommendation (the Building Inspector) Chris strengthened the rafters either side of the skylight and then proceeded to put up the studwork for the new walls.

To the left of the photo you can see the two new concrete lintels that have been fitted by Paul Jennison, in order to support the above load-bearing wall.

Chris had to work out where to position the studwork in order to insulate and plasterboard the walls and roof surrounding the skylight - not as much fun as you might think!

This is the studwork that will be part of the hall landing and the inside area will be the wardrobe for the Heather Parry Suite.
